An Audit is generally performed when outside third parties (such as banks, investors, creditors, regulators and potential purchasers) require an auditor’s opinion on the financial statements. The purpose of an audit is to enhance the degree of confidence of intended users in the financial statements. This is achieved by the expression of an opinion by the auditor on whether the financial statements are prepared, in all material respects, in accordance with an applicable financial reporting framework.
A Review of financial statements is generally performed when required by outside third parties such as banks, investors, creditors and potential purchasers. The procedures performed in a review are substantially less in extent than procedures performed in an audit conducted in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards. Our team performs procedures, primarily consisting of making inquiries of management and others within the entity, as appropriate, and applying analytical procedures, and evaluates the evidence obtained.
A Compilation of financial statements’ engagement is generally performed when required by management for tax return submission or outside third parties such as banks and creditors. Compiled financial statements do not need disclosures required in an audit or a review. In Compilation engagement, we compile the statements using information provided by management or owners.
Agreed upon procedures/Special purpose report
Sometimes organizations require assurance on information other than audits or reviews or compilation of historical financial information. In such instances, GHi will perform agreed-upon procedures and issue a special purpose report. Such reports may include but not limited to the organization’s compliance with statutes, regulations and agreements, reports on financial presentations that comply with contractual agreements or regulatory requirements or not prepared in accordance with recognized financial reporting framework.
GHi teams utilize a similar audit stage and restrictive software, and tailor our contributions explicitly to client’s individual needs. This approach permits us to give worldwide companies constant updates, at whatever point – and any place – they’re required.
